复读机
I've learnt that a cassette player is called 录音机. Then I went and bought a cassette player and both on the player and on the instruction to it it is called 复读机, or to be more specific, 语言复读机. I haven't found this word in my dictionary.
Now I wonder, does 复读机 mean the same as 录音机? What's the difference between the two words? Do they denote different types of cassette players?
