OK, so now for a real entry
I don't know why Rebecca is the focus of this thing, but so be it. I promi8sed more to be revealed, well, here's some more, but obviously not the last word on the subject: Saturday, I went for a walk, and decided RJ (i'm getting sick of typing the name) and I were destined to be fast friends. Thus China lauren (not ballroom loren) urging me to "date your dance partner, c'mon, it'll be really cute". So we did, and now we're just good friends. Awesome. She's one of my coolest friends. How many girls do I know who can beat me in a sword fight (OK, at least two, because 'Blonde Kate')? I shouldn't be admitting that, but anyway... She's awesome and I'm glad to count her among my friends.
Home sorta sucks...no friends. I'm becoming SCAdian to win friends. Figure they're crazy sort of people, we'll get along nicely. So I'm becoming a workaholic by day (I was in the office for over 10 hrs today) and a SCAdian by night. But I can live with that. the first will support the second. Except not, because I have to use it to pay for life in Israel. I'm gonna be learning in Efrat (I GOT IN!!), or possibly J'lem (if they ever get back to me...7-10 buisness days my @$$).
However, to cure my sickness of being home (anti-homesickness?), I'm A)visiting DC next month, and B) making a Sunday BBQ for all who wish to trek out to Long Island for the day. I need to plan these things though. Perhaps late June, b4 camps start up, and enough before my DC trip (third weekend of July) so that I get multiple summer pick-me-ups. Thinking through the keyboard I guess, but some great papers have been planned through blogging, so why not? I need to hit the sack, as it's an early morning tomorrow (I can barely recall the last time that it wasn't). Cursed work, starting at 8:15.
