So I got to do my first official get called on and analyze a case today, an action which requires good memory and quick thinking analytical skills, both of which quickly fail me in times of extreme exposure and nervousness.
I don't think I have ever answered so many successive questions wrongly in my life, but that appears to be an experience I may have to adjust to.
It's not that I didn't/can't understand this stuff, it's just that it requires a calm, cool focus and attention to the details that is more rigorous than I am accustomed to.
At any rate, there is nothing to fear, because everyone is allowed to make a fool of themselves ad infinitum during class because the only thing that counts is the written exam at the end of the semester.
But at least now I know a little better the wonderfully intense feeling of having a one on one conversation in front of 80 witnesses...
