One cannot simply "fight" the cold! It sets into your body, slows your muscle function, and eventually kills you! As well, a plague is not avoidable either--the poor water is no good for "washing your hands".

Are you kidding? You can totally fight a cold! Just keep a little bit active, eat warm food, bundle up and get some rest!

And optimism! A healthy dose of optimism goes a long way, yaknow!

Start a fire, obviously. Find or make a nice dry spot outside, start a fire, and cook something.

There is never any hope! Note even a small ray! Hope is just another false illusion created by those who are incapable of accepting that their life has no point at the spot they have reached! It is a so called "drive" which in the end only runs us into a wall!
