Room 303, Laaaaate Friday After the Girlkissy Party

Feb 17, 2012 09:55

So, kissing girls but not actually going any further with them? Not actually all that helpful in resolving restlessness, it needed to be said.

And Rebecca had -- somehow -- managed to get out of that party without bringing anyone back to her room. Yes, it shocked her too. So, frustrated, she returned to her room in the tiny shorts and tank top that ( Read more... )

Peter had spent the whole day trying to draft up a response to one of the short-sighted fools who'd commented on his latest Locke essay. He'd tried, but he couldn't do it.

It was the sexual frustration - he knew that. He'd just figured he could push beyond it to do what needed to be done. But apparently note - so that meant it needed to be fixed. Now.

And who could be an easier fix than Rebecca? They'd do it, he'd get the hell out, and then he'd be able to get back to writing and getting things done.

He knocked on her door, a little impatient.

"Yes?" Rebecca called, sounding... well, a little crazed. Damn you, missing earring. And lack of sex. Damn it aaaaall.

This was stupid.

"Do you have a minute?" Peter called.

Oh, thank god.

"Finally," Rebecca breathed, and she abandoned the earring to die a slow death under the bed as she hurried across the room to pull open the door.

In her tiny little pajamas. Braless. While breathing sort of fast. Hi, Peter.

Hello again, Rebecca's breasts! ... Rebecca.

Peter wondered briefly if this was going to end in a rejection anyway, then realized that he didn't really care - the last time had not exactly been fraught with emotion.

He took a step inside. "It's a frustrating week," he said. "Want a redo of Saturday night?"

Classy, Peter. Though at least he simply sounded straightforward.

Did the girl yanking him inside, shutting the door, and pinning him to the door for a fierce kiss give any kind of definitive answer to that question?

Because there you go.

It was always good to know he hadn't misjudged a situation!

Peter took hold of her hips and kissed her back with more than a little urgency. Yep - that's what he'd been looking for.

This somehow managed to be exactly what Rebecca needed and, at the same time, nowhere near enough. But any movement that might lead to ending the kiss seemed completely unacceptable, so she was just going to busy herself with getting a hand down his pants. Because helpful!

And hello again, Rebecca.

Though this time from a whole different part of Peter. Fancy that.

He made a noise against her mouth and pushed... or rather, pressed against her so they'd get closer to the bed, which he was still fairly sure they'd need at some point. Soon.

That was very smart, Peter. Rebecca applauded your pluck.

Or she would, if she wasn't busy deciding 'To hell with this standing thing,' and jumping on him. Hope that was okay, Peter.

Peter... was not his brother, and didn't quite have Ender's upper body strength. Still, Rebecca wasn't a very heavy girl, so he managed - with a brief umph.

That might hurt in the morning.

And so any kissing or moving had to go on pause as Peter tried to steady himself again.

"You good?" she breathed, panting hard and touching her forehead to his as she caught her breath.

Not in a romantic way. It was just practical. Please.

Good, or Peter would have had to stop this right now and dive out the window or something, completely ruining his plans for the night. "Yes, yes, I'm fine," he replied, finally taking another step or two towards the bed.

The quicker he could put her down, the better.

And Rebecca would have to slowly die due to threat of personal attachment. Which no one wanted.

For now, she spared him the no doubt extreme strain of having to kiss her some more, opting instead to detach one arm from his upper back and use it to feel out behind her for when they reached the bed. Because helpful!

And for the fourth greeting of the night - hello, bed!

Which Peter not-too-gracefully dropped her onto, following only a second or so later.

And Rebecca was going to be peeling off her shirt now. You know, as a reward for that very diligent carrying of her.

Or maybe because she just didn't want her shirt on. Who knew?
