Femmeslash BigBang
So, over the past few weeks, I've been debating something. That is, whether or not to take part in the femmeslash-bang this year. The challenge is to write a femslash story of at least 20,000 words, of any fandom, and can be multiple fics. It's a way of spreading the f/f love a little, as it's frightfully under-represented.
Either way, I'd really like to do this, but I guess I don't really trust myself to see it through.
Idea 1. Genderbent!Snow. It'd be an odd mix of always-a-girl!Snow and suddenly-a-girl. As in, think that the real Snow got switched with an AU of himself. The other characters would know guy!Snow, but for Snow herself, she's always been that way. It could open up some interesting possibilities (and I admit, I might actually like Snow/Serah better in this case...)
Idea 2. Steph Brown and Cass Cain in the new DC universe. It'd be a first meeting, Spoiler and Black Bat, and play on what reassures me and frustrates me about DC. Because, no matter how they reboot or devolve into Crises... The important stuff, like old friendships, always seem to find a way back. Steph and Cass' friendship is just one of those things.
Idea 3. Actually write the first arc of Offbeat (Fang/Lightning) and stop procrastinating.
