the spirit is moved and my body's not moving at all

So it looks like I'm back. I dunno why now really, I guess I just need something else to keep me occupied.

Hmm what have I been up to since last time..? Not a lot really.
I think I've been able to sort out a few things, or they sorted themseleves. Other things are still hanging around, but I'll deal.

Uni is over now for a few months. Exams weren't terrible, but they weren't great either. I think I did not too bad in CTech, which is the one I thought I'd do worst in hah.
I'm almost certain that I failed FPP2 (programming), because I had a look at the marking scheme and it's not looking so good for me.
GLD was... unexpected. I was so prepared for it, which is the worst part. It was supposed to be an online exam, but they changed the format without even giving us a reason and instead of being the kind of questions we studied for, they were more like essay questions that looked like they were just made up on the spot. The kind of need to know exactly what you're talking about questions. So yeah, that sucked a lot, but I might have just scraped my way through.

All the shows I watch seem to be ending now, which sucks. The Prison Break finale is next week, and I think it should be pretty good. Though really, while watching it now my friend and I make fun of it on msn. It does get a little ridiculous. Just how many things can possibly go wrong for Michael and co? And is there anyone who doesn't know he's breaking out?
After that I think that the only thing I still watch will be The OC. Even though I've had the finale spoiled for me by around 3 or 4 seperate people fuck fuck fuck.

After all the waiting I finally got to see X-Men 3.

I really loved it in the context of the movie. Obviously there were a lot of changes to be made that couldn't possibly be adapted from the comics. I liked how the explained Jean's Phoenix evolution, though I kind of miss the whole mysticism of her resurrections and such. But I still think she'll be back. Famke is so sexy and scary as Phoenix.
A lot of people are annoyed about Wolverine taking the spotlight again, but I love the Jean/Logan 'ship and couldn't care less about Cyclops, so I was happy with that. Especially with things like the really hot lab scene. I liked Jean and Logan's final scene too.
I agree that Jean's sacrifice in the comic was one of the best things about that arc, but in the movie I don't think it would really have made a lot of sense to just throw in there. And they were pushing Logan's relationship so much that he had to be the one to end her.
There was only a few things that bothered me...
-Nowhere near enough Angel. Come on, he seems like such an awesome character with a great story to tell that was summed up in all of about 3 minutes. And he could have had some awesome fight scenes. And of course, the hotness.
-No visible Phoenix :( I think it would have been cool, even just to subtley work it in during the climax scene.
-Not enough Kitty. OK, to be honest I think she had a decent amount of screentime. But she just rocks and I would have loved to see more of her.
-Pyro was beaten by Iceman?? Oh no... Pyro should have kicked his ass :P He's so awesome, and bad, and hot. And Iceman is just blaghhh.

END SPOILAGE

So with all my free time I've been vidding a lot more.
I've finished 2 vids this month (making 4 new videos in 2 months, which is like 4 times as many as usual haha) and started a new one today. Though Premiere is just fucking with me now and the crashing is unreal. I hope I can make some progress with it soon...

My birthday is a lot sooner than I thought it was O_o See how much I care? haha

Oh and I have to go to the dentist tomorrow. I'll hold off on going into another fear-induced rant.

I think this is long enough, so until I can think of something more worthwhile to say, I should stop.

Ahhh why did I come back here? :P
