(no subject)
Geez, over a month since my last update. Although it is hard to update when I don't have the net...STILL! :( Although it's active on my line now (I ended up getting ADSL with iinet) I just have to get the ADSL modem and I'm all up and running again. I'm getting that this week, making work pay for it ;) HAH! I should be online from home Wednesday, just in time to sit around hungover like a bitch after the big party/clubbing night on Tuesday. We have Australia day here, celebrating the country, for...well, being the country I think. I'm not sure really, it's all stupid. Work are having a birthday party on Tuesday night, free drinking and food for 3 hours at the xxxx ale house. Should be lots of fun, people are complaining about it, for Christ's sake people, it's FREE, you're getting taken there and back again, you don't have to pay for ANYTHING. Shutup and enjoy it you whinging cunts. Damn people are ingrates, we get three hours of entertainment, food and drinks at a great venue and they complain because they can't bring their partner, or because it's not a full meal. To all these people I say, "Please, don't come, you won't be missed."
Christmas was good, had breakfast with Dan's family in the morning on Christmas day, we got picked up by Mum and Con from Dan's house at lunch time, went to Dad's on the coast, had a great lunch there. Went on to my Aunt's house in the late afternoon, Sister drove us :s scary stuff there, let me tell you. Had a big dinner and opening of more presents there, it was very nice. Way too much food as always. We stayed over at Mum's house that night, Sister dropped us off at the station and we went home that afternoon.
I've applied to move out of my new place, yes, I've only been there about 3 months, but I'll be helping someone out and stuff if I can move. I'll keep everyone updated on what's going on with that. Umm work is still crap, I've done up a resume, I'm looking for work everday. Dancing is going well, I think, I'm having fun at least. I'm going to the gym 3 times a week as well as doing aerobics on Tuesday night and Dancing on Friday night.
We went to Sydney for the Strictly Dancing TV show, I was in the audience for 5 hours while Dan and Jane danced. They did really well but were beaten by couples with lots more exp in dancing and they were very, very good. I'll write more about it later and post pics. It's time to go home! ....well, to the gym, then home!.....well, to the City, then the gym, then home! Eventually.
