Now lean back, lean back, lean back, lean back.

Waaah, I haven't updated in ages! Everything is fine, still no net at home! :( Telstra are coming out to do a quote for the installation to the unit block, so I might see internet sometime before the Apocalypse....maybe. I might just tell them to get lost and get ADSL in the new year. Speaking of which, nobody really knows what we're doing yet for New Year's Eve. Obviously a party or something at someone's house, we just have to figure out who and where. Things are going great, Dan won first place in the Mega Jam dance comp, well his group did, 4 of them. They were totally the best out of all the crews, the others just lacked the energy and enthusiasm of Dan's group. They got a trophy/cup thingo, which Dan kept and boxes of chocolates. My dance class is going well, none for two weeks though ! :( Last week was awesome, I had loads of fun and really got into it. I'm picking it up pretty quickly, I've started counting in my head as I move, it's taken 4 weeks, but I think that's not too bad.

Ummm, what else. OH the old guy over from me who was complaining about the music and noise and stuff, well...haha, I was away for a week, Christmas break, Dan and I went to the Gold Coast with his family, stayed in a place on the beach down there. That was good fun, very rained out though, but it was still good. Anyway, I was not in my unit for, oh...about 9 days, the first night I get back, I put on some music for about 30 minutes while I cooked dinner, Dan was over, and we were still able to have reasonable conversation, so it wasn't loud at all. I get a call in the morning from the Real Estate place, telling me he'd been in and complained about the loud music the previous night, I couldn't fucking believe it, I'd been away for over a week, he'd had _total_ peace and quiet, and he complains the first chance he gets about 30 minutes worth of reasonable music. What a fucking idiot :) Anyway, the Real Estate chick told me that they told him to stop whinging and complaining, they weren't going to do anything about it, he lives in high density residential, tough luck. They advised him, if it were that terrible and he wasn't able to stand it, he should call the police. This all came about because I wrote a two page letter of complaint about him complaining about me and all the crap he does, like asking me to come to his unit, spying on me through his windows and generally being a total dickhead. So, the lesson is, if you're English and complain, go right ahead, it always works :p

That'll do for now, I have a week off over Christmas (another one), I've totally not started or even though about Christmas shopping. It's caught up with me and I have no idea what to get anyone....meh, I'll figure something out. Maybe a family of travelling acrobats...
