Lily's Favorite Game.
So Lily has invented a game all by herself which amuses us greatly. Actually shes been doing this since she was about 18 mos old, but I am too lazy to post. She loves to pretend to eat things. I don't mean the standard stick anything in her mouth she still does that too, but she likes eating the impossible.
This morning we were all laying in bed and a suncatcher was creating rainbows all over the ceiling/walls. I point and say "Look Lily rainbows". She promptly opens her mouth wide, makes a chomping sound, says "Mmmmm" and rubs her belly. So far I've seen her do this with, Worms, Rainbows, Spiders, Birds, Ladybugs, Airplanes, Cars etc. Its very amusing.
Another interesting note. Lily certainly is starting to get the hang of this communication concept. She has words for all her favorite people/things except herself. This usually results in a conversation like this:
Dad: Lily can you say MaMa
Lily: MaMa
Dad: Lily can you say Ivy.
Lily: IIII-VEEEEY (She always is excited to say her sister's name)
Dad: Lily can you say Lily
Lily: Me.
Dad: Can you say Lily?
Lily: Me.
Ivy: No, Lily say Lily
Ivy: Me.
