Trees
I had been meaning to write this down for some time but keep forgetting. Anyway If your ever going to cut a tree down you might have to check with my daughter Ivy first. For close to two years now she has claimed ownership of trees. I think it started with her saying "Look at all my beautiful trees". Continued with her trees wearing their costumes for halloween, and now her sad that most of her trees need some leaves. Don't worry though because I told her we ordered some leaves and Ivy and I can put them on the trees for her birthday (coincidentally the first day of spring). We might need some help from the fairys though as there are a lot of leaves to put on....
In a bit of comedy, my mother always mentioned that the first question I asked her (and one of my earlier complete sentances was "How many trees are there?", Thus stumping her for an answer and proving that I'd be a smartass/pain in the ass for the next 30 years.
