Nice weekend, Alexander's 2nd birthday party on Sunday so everyone over - he had a blast! Had to work on Saturday.
Today is VJ Day - an oft forgotten day in the light of VE day celebrations that happen early in the year. Please take a second today to remember the soldiers of the Pacific theatre, no matter which side they fought on. My Grandfather spent 4 years fighting in the Burmese Jungle alongside Indian "gurkhas", about whom he always spoke very highly.
