Spain pt.2
Ah, another week about to end in Spain! Time for a few more details about the trip.
Classes blow. I mean, I know that´s kind of the main point behind this trip, to earn 6 credits in a month and go to school, but jesus does it drag. I´m tired as hell when I get up (thank god for that mid-afternoon siesta!) and the classes are just sooooo boring. Grammar and phonetics. Yay. The only good things about it is that there´s only 12 people in each class, and my group comprises at least 8 of those people.
But fuck school! On to more interesting stuff. So there´s this really cute little chica from New York who seems to dig me. She almost looks like Abby, but more petite. We have a lot in common, but I get the feeling she might be a little unstable. Hard to tell. And there´s this other really really hot girl from Kentucky. Jesus. I come to Spain to pick up hot spanish mamitas, and I end up crushing on two girls from the states. Way to go, Schafe, way to go.
The diet here has been excellent, except for today. Not that it didn´t taste good, but I spent a half hour basically puking out of my ass. Not pleasant, not pleasant at all. Fucking trout. Pretty much every meal is accompanied by lettuce, onions, cucumbers, or tomatoes. They love their olive oil here, and aren´t afraid to go ape with it.
Found a McDonald´s the other day. What a great country, when you get a big mac AND a fucking beer at the same place. And McGazpacho. I´m afraid to try it, but jesus christ, McDonald´s brand gazpacho?! This country makes our McDonalds look like shit! Which I guess it is. And it´s still shit here, but it´s foreign shit. Fabulous.
Tonight we´re supposed to go out for some drink called agua de valencia (water of valencia). Apparently its a mix of orange juice, vodka and champagne, and since I´m surrounded by women, they all want this sissy drink. Me, i´d be just as happy with a beer or a shot jager. Oh my god, jager is so cheap here. The most expensive i´ve seen it is like two and a half euros, which is less than 4 bucks. Most places sell it around for around 2 euros, which amounts to less than 3.50 for a shot (!) Holy shit I love this place.
Well, time to actually try to get some work done. After a few strong bad e-mails. And some Red vs. Blue. And....fuck. Oh well.
