ok, we've cleared the patio (good gravy we have a lot of stuff - planters and plants and tiles and sea shells and sculpture and windchimes and bird feeders and garden tools and and and and...)
the boards are up on the back windows.
peter isn't home yet so we're hoping he will get back soon.
power likely to go out by 9pm, storm hit at 1-2am. if (when) the power goes out, I will be sending sporadic updates by phone to illogicalvulcan.
also: uncovered three chameleons in the course of the clean-up. cute!
wow, I really need a shower.
after lunch, i'll probably be hanging out for a while, or making art, until we lose power.
