NFL Wild-card Round

Jets at Cincinnati
Philly at Dallas
Batlimore at New England
Green Bay at Arizona

This week's record: 1-3 / Year-to-date: 166-93 [0.641]

==========

One interesting week of NFL playoffs leads right into another: Is it possible that the Jets might make a run at the Super Bowl? Can the Chargers and Colts - who rested some starters in the last week - turn it back on again and avoid letting the Ravens and Jets make an historic pair of upsets? Can Dallas keep it up against the Vikings, or will Favre parlay that week 17 momentum into an NFC championship berth? And will the flailing Saints right the ship against the surging Cardinals? ... In the Super Bowl era, no #1 seed from both conferences has ever failed to make the Super Bowl, but with New Orleans and Indy both facing real threats in Baltimore and Arizona, it's quite very well possible that for the first time in history, no 1 OR 2 seed from either conference will make the Big Game, meaning we could see as improbable a matchup as Jets at Arizona in February ... If I'm not mistaken, no team is favored by as much as a touchdown heading into next week's slate, meaning even Vegas thinks a clean sweep of upsets is possible ...

My picks: Dallas, Cards, Colts, Chargers; though with the NFL these days, you can never tell from one week to the next who'll show up.
