Renovation
Jim and I walked around the block today to see the house getting the extreme makeover. They have a pedestrian area set up, and our back neighbor had about 50 people sitting on his lawn (and lawns here are small...) I'll bet he'd have a hard time ordering a pizza. We also saw a tour bus going in; apparently they're busing people in from the old Kenrick movie theater, so if you want to see it, there's how.
Not that there's a whole lot to see at the moment. They've ripped out the entire house and were moving dirt around with a bulldozer. They had set up big floodlights too, so I guess to get the whole thing done in a week they'll be working late. I wonder what their immediate neighbors think. I'd guess they're either really excited and impressed, or else really hacked off. If it were next to me, I think I'd throw a party.
