good update! nice deal on the car too, thats like, unheard of. especially for such a nice upgrade! glad you've been having some fun and chilling out over the past while. you've always been human, maybe you just need to be more relaxed when it comes to promoting yourself.
so the work situation still sucks ass, hey. are you still working at pastels or did you leave? i was unclear on that. something will come along eventually... just, waiting for the eventually really sucks too. :/
To people I know fairly well, I probably don't come across the same way i do to people that don't know me that well. Close friends wouldn't notice as much of the gotta stay focused on the task at hand. I am a lot more comfortable around people I know. It's the people I don't know well, that get the mostly business side of me. It was just nice that the person noticed that I know how to let lose.
Well I have not quit Pastel's, I am currently on holidays (which I took cause I had that other job). I went in today to get my check and looked at the schedule... No shifts this week (on holidays until friday, so not a big surprize) and no shifts next week either. I am going to assume I no longer have a job there, I guess.
that is crazy that they didn't schedule you for after your holidays. Sorry to hear it. Good luck again man with the job hunt. Yay for maybe no more food industry.

Main focus right now is to find a new job. I'll deal with what's going on with pastel's once I have another job line up.
