(5) Change; Blue Face
I got my new kitten today! Her name is Misty. I'll post pictures later. It was a huge thing to get her, the pound was closed on Mondays and we couldn't get a hold of them and we had huge communication issues, so if we didn't get her today then they would let somebody else adopt her. No stress or anything, right?
I got a speeding ticket in November and I can't seem to find it. I remember seeing it before Thanksgiving, but family was on the way so we just shoved a lot of our in the way stuff into bags and put them in odd places to deal with later. So that's how I sort of lost it. I went to the courthouse today to fix it, but the pound called and told us to get the cat OR ELSE! So we didn't get to deal with the ticket stuff and have to do it tomorrow.
Misty acts like she's been here before. She's so laid back and calm and isn't afraid of us at all! So we decided to introduce her to Jack and they actually got along really well! They're both about the same size too so it's really cute to see them next to each other!
Tomorrow is Samantha's birthday and I haven't had any calls from her (despite me calling about 6 times in the past week or so). I keep saying, "Well, I've called enough. She can call ME for once." But after about two days of it not happening I get antsy and call again. And now tomorrow is her birthday so I have no idea if there are any plans, future plans, or if she wants to see me at all. We haven't fought or anything, she's just going through some personal things and I feel pushed away as the best friend when she doesn't take my calls or give any effort to call back in any form of communication. So that makes me kind of bummed out.
