Today was towards the beginning of the festival season of nine nights of dancing for India. Needless to say, I haven't been out dancing, because, hey, flu shot! However, I did go to a friend's house for her holiday arts and crafts arrangements. In some states of India, they create very elaborate setups in their house, cook massive amounts of specific foods, and invite large numbers of people to come and view their decorations, eat, and perhaps sing a song or two.

This particular friend of mine is a true artist. I enjoy visiting her house during this time to see her lovely designs-something new and beautiful every year.
