Half the year has gone by. Time to visit the goals I made in December, I thought. Took the handy-dandy list and started reading top down and got depressed right away. Not doing, not doing, not doing. Then I said, hang on, let's start bottom up. Doing, doing, doing. Ah! I was tackling the low-hanging fruit but not the tough stuff.
Here are the sorts of things I am doing:
Live Journal: post every day
C&M Blog: post every MWF
Books: Excel spreadsheet, LibraryThing, 1010 Challenge, TBR Challenge
Comment: Twitter, Whatsapp, Facebook 2x, Email 2x, Blogs
Here's the important stuff I am doing:
Travel Editing
Book Editing
CHILD Profile Editing
Volunteer Gigs with Wee1
Mother-Daughter Project
Staying connected with friends
Here's an important thing that was not on the list that I am doing:
Improving my relationship with my mother
Here are some of the important things I am not doing:
Mantra: A big secret for happiness is to ignore the people who do crappy things to you.
Organizing & De-cluttering: laptop, filing cabinet, paper pile, email
Unprocrastinate
More Volunteer gigs with Wee1
More Mother-Daughter Project
Staying better connected with friends who matter (aka cut down on Facebook)
Time to buckle down and take on the big stuff. Accountability and action and all that.
