went to a show at a cafe to see my friend boytiger, her brother, who's also amazing, and a girl with accompanyment by boy called aubrey debauchery, it was much fun. i always love hearing B's stuff, her voice will knock socks off, for certain. and it was strange that even though i'd heard her stuff only once before i was really familiar with the songs already, like i'd been listening to a cd for a few hours already or something, i guess i was pretty absorbed. i think the girls got some songs posted on her myspace account, if'n you don't know her, you could do worse than check her stuff out. her brother has an awesome voice as well, good genes going around i guess, i dunno, he's got bunches of energy too, i'll have to meet him someday. mz. debauchery was cool, and her accompaniment was really talented too, though both were nervouse because his parents were seeing him perform for the first time, that was cute. so then amy and i ran about town, a scant 4 days into our 2 weeks of drinklessness, though we did stop into a bar to look around, i felt less welcome, kind of strange. i miss my wine and beer, that's why i know i need a coupla weeks off. kinda funny. getting me some glasses today, part of my christmas present from my mom. its really too bad grace won't send me mine, one oughtn't to need lawyers to get one's glasses back. less and less respect for that girl everyday. which is too bad, one can only extend the hand of friendship so many times..... alas.
