This morning I was waken up by a call from Kano-san from Bic Camera. He told me I could come and get my headphones tomorrow. This makes me very happy, since I've missed them already. Kano-san, you're a good man!
My grammar teacher this semester is so much less efficient than the one I had last semester. She was a real ball-breaker, and I'm a sucker for a mature woman who can make me feel small. This one, well, it's funny how I find myself having no interest in concentrating in class if I don't find my teacher the least bit attractive. I have no idea how knowing what kinds of fruit are delicious in autumn is relevant to learning grammar. But I guess it is if you ask her. "Kabocha ('pumpkin')", I told her. "Kabocha? That's not a fruit, is it?", she said. Do I look like a fucking farmer? How the hell should I know. "It's a fruit", said a guy from Arkansas. Eventually people agreed that it's a vegetable. After the class the guy came to me and said "Kabocha are fruit", he held out his hand, "high five for being smart".
I eat meat. I ingest fruit if it's in my juice or yoghurt. Or if it's a banana. (Obligatory mention of Koushi: Koushi hates bananas.) If you ask me, berries are Gods mistake. So don't look at me if you need info on fruit. Ask me about meat, people!
I met Yukiko, the daughter of the lady I met in Kofu, yesterday. She has a zany sense of humor. It's kind of sad to me that she herself considers it her only merit, because she really is very nice. We have pretty similar personalities. She's never had a boyfriend in all her 22 years. Which is a shame, I think. She would like someone foreign to practise her english with. Speaking from experience, if you've never dated before, someone from a different culture who you don't even share a language with is not the best idea... Besides, I'm dead against that sort of international couples, i.e. Japanese chick, Western guy. I wonder if Koushi would know someone awesome for her. He does know foreigners who speak japanese. I'd approve of that.
