ah lj, how quickly the book of face has pushed you aside.
So, all is well. I am currently denying myself outings and social events until I get my fucking thesis done. I need to turn in a draft before turkey day so I can get comments and see if I am analyzing the data well. I am pretty sure it will be smooth sailing. got about 1/3 of the remainder finished today, so good on me.
had planned to go to a party tonight as a reward, but the hubby is illin. c'est la vie. tomorrow I am hoping to hit east for a bit.
Saw 2012 (my mom was all excited) and it was terribly cheesy. special effects were cool though. we hit the Highball this week and it rocked. highly recommended. can't wait to do some karaoke in one of those rooms. i need to practice so i have some songs.
I find myself enjoying this last bit of school. it;ll probably be my last bit of slacking with mornings off- gonna hafta get me a morning job if they don't have a morning teaching position for me this spring. but I have my fingers crossed, and if they are gonna have a position for me spring is the time. everyone at my school (job) has been so good to me throughout my grad program.
I have about a million projects lined up for December and early January, when my school closes and I will only be working at my other tutoring job- looking forward to time off. first will involve painting my bathroom.
