Keeping in mind what Murphy said about plans ("No plan survives first contact with the enemy"), this is how I think/hope my educational path will go for the next couple of years. Everything is written in sand, but this is a passible blush at it.
- January - August 2009: CLEP test for American Literature, Intro to Psych, Intro to Sociology and Developmental Psych
- Fall 2009: Intercultural Communication and College Algebra
- Spring 2010: chemistry and business Communication
- Winter 2010: Nutrition and Microbiology
- Spring '11: Biology of Human Disease and Human Anatomy/Physiology 1
- Winter 2011: Anatomy/Physiology 2 and Educational Psychology
- Spring '12: Social Psychology and Intro to Technical Writing
This should complete an AS as well as all of the requirements to get me admission to the local BSN program. I hope that I might be able to drop some of the classes into "summer school" and be able to cut it down from the three years that this looks like. I want to be able to get into and THROUGH nursing school before we look at moving again.
