Jobs

I got started on my job search today. I've called the friend of my cousin twice now, and have heard nothing back. Crappy. But, I went into the Workforce Center at school and they had some interesting listings. The most interesting one is as a Teachers Aide/Technology for Fullerton School District. That's the one I'm hoping for, as I'm thinking I might want to teach, plus the pay's pretty good. hopefully it's not like 2 hours a week or something.

Trouble is, my best reckoning says I'm going to need to net about $2k per month to cover my expenses, which could be difficult if I want to keep going to school. I suppose I could always rack up massive debt via student loans, but it seems like there has to be a better way.

I'm debating busting into the college fund my grandma set up for me long ago, and maybe just focus on busting out the 2 classes I need to get my AS's in CompSci and Math. It would only get me through maybe 2 semesters, if I got work during the breaks I could support myself with. I guess I could keep tutoring to slow down the burn rate. Hmmm. I wanted to save it for going to "real school", but at this point I'm not sure I'll ever make it to "real school", so I guess I might as well just go for it. I'll see what comes up on the job front, first. I've always had good luck in that department.

Well, I figured if i was going to be mulling this over I might as well do it in a public place. Any advice is welcome.
