Holy crap I've been gone a long time. I've got tons of pictures but I can't be arsed to put them up. Ehehe...
I'll just go in random order.
1) this week
We had AP testing all week. I did the English Language on Monday and US History today. They were tons easier than I was expecting - the History exam had 88 questions and I only didn't know 3.
Why yes, I am a history geek, how'd you guess?
Holy crap, that reminds me - my last exam is on the 22nd! I can't wait, because I'll be free! Though I'm friends with so many of the seniors, so it'll be really sad. I might even cry, I dunno. Hopefully I'll get to sing at graduation, so I'll get to see everyone one last time.
kaitefanch is trying to get me to do something really silly on the last day, but I'm not sure what I should do.
I worked the store this afternoon! The school store's run by NHS and the junior members (like moi) take it over after Tapping. It was kind of fun, actually. Before that I had an incredibly easy Trig test. I thought it was going to be so hard, but I know I aced it. The review was really easy and I even finished all the extra credit problems we got no sweat.
I have a project on the nervous system due Monday for Anatomy. We have to have a three-page paper and a PowerPoint presentation that covers basically the whole paper. Coach McKay said we should have at least 10 slides and most of the class freaked, but Austin and I just went, "We've both got 15 and we're not even done!"
We got our yearbooks Tuesday. Or maybe it was Monday. Or Wednesday. Who cares. Anyway, they look pretty cool. I haven't even gotten half the signatures I need! I have to track down all my friends all over school and get them to sign.
Also, I have the best signatures. Nobody beats my signatures. Everyone else writes the same boring thing in everyone's annual - I write completely personalized crap that takes up an whole damn page, with little drawing and stuff. I actually wrote one in a winding trail across two pages - I should've taken a picture.
2) random strangeness
I was reading this little PK (product knowledge) sheet about vaccuum cleaners and noticed a funny typo: "Wound a longer cord make life easier?" Well, I suppose wounding a power cord might make me feel better, but...
3) Orlando
Jesus. I could take up six pages just about Orlando. Let's just say that there were many, many inappropriate comments made, and many catfights had. Hehehe.
4) Quotes!
Dalton: ::to me:: You Aztec space ninja!
Me: ::to
kaitefanch:: I'm done with my subterfuge!
srmorgandegdale: It's not subterfuge if you announce it.
kaitefanch: I'm 22% mischevious. But that's okay, because I'm also 88% malignant!
Me: ...you're 88% fatally cancerous?
Me: I like it sour! [quite possibly one you had to be there for]
kaitefanch and me: Quoi?
Me: ::about the extra credit when I was trying to do it last night:: I looked at this one problem and my brain just went, "Oh god..." and promptly committed seppuku.
5) Tomome-kun
I thought I'd finally gotten him to behave, but then he just died for about three days. For no bloody reason! I swear, sometimes I truely think he's become sentient and is just messing with me.
And now he's even got our modem into it - it'll just randomly start looking for something called "launchmodem" and halfway load Google, then look for launchmodem again. We haven't got the faintest idea what's going on, but it's messing up all the computers (Josh's, both of mine, and all three of Dad's). It's really annoying because the only way to stop is is to wait for it to start working again or to restart the modem.
