More than hope, more than faith - this is true, this is fate!
Wahaha. I totally forgot I bought stuff at the mall Wednesday. I went back today and got more stuff, too!
In all, I got:
- a black tee from Hot Topic that says "I'm Ninja. You can't see me."
- some fab jeans from Express to replace the ones I wore through a while back
- some cute khaki pants, because I have never owned a good pair of khakis - and they were on sale, bitches!
- a really, really cute poufy fifties-style black lace over pink-cream silk knee-length prom dress thing. I didn't mean to get a prom dress already (a year early!), but I was trying on some dresses with kaitefanch and it looked so good, she talked me into getting it. It's strapless, but that's okay - I got Dad to lace up my sexy Narcissa corset for me and I put the dress on over it. It looks great. I'll have to get it taken in at the waist, but that's okay. We'll find a tailor between now and then. It's got poufy black crinolines underneath that are cracktastic. Best of all, since it's knee-length, I could get some strappy sandles that lace up my calves like ballet shoes! I could get Savanna to do the half-up, half-down thing that she did for my Narcissa costume and it would look awesome. Hee. I'd just have to get a tan.
Tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of the nerger between Sears and K-Mart, so all the associates get shopping passes for 20-30% off stuff. I've been waiting to get a few things, and now's my chance!
