I have not read the second part of this chapter, very intense scene. It just seems like the odds against Kurogane are stacking up more and more.
I know what's gonna happen next!
I won't give anything away. XP

I love the fact that you thought up a whole world and background for the characters and you somehow even managed to make Kuro-macho a believable female so far! I'm all ears..eh, eyes to read what comes next!
She'll be rescued by Fai, right? Don't let her be found by predators, she's vulnerable enough right now, right?
I can't imagine robbers greedy enough to ambush someone during a blizzard, or animals hunting in this weather... but if this is normal, who knows how snow wolves adapt to their environment...
Well, it's an awesome story and I'm holding my breath for Kuro-heroine... so don't make us wait too long for another update please???? Or I might just pass out from lack of oxygen... xP

Glad to hear fem!Kurogane (I also refer to her as Kuro-chama) is believable. I've been writing more and more fem!Kuro and fem!Fai and am as fond of them as canon!male!Kuro and canon!male!Fai. Though really, I have to credit CLAMP for writing them individually and their relationship so well that as long as you take the essence of them and the relationship it can be written in any variation of sex/gender, or even creatures. (Although I struggle with het K/F fics.)
Chapter 3 had been sitting in my "to-be-finished" pile for far longer than I had hoped. I am very close to finishing it, but now that I tasked myself to do NaNoWrMo, it's been largely delayed. So much for aiming to finish it that weekend as I hoped that's now about two or three weeks ago. xP But I promise it will be finished.

So yes, I'm still breathing mostly and patiently waiting for you to catch up and continue the fic.^^ Just thought I'd let you know, that, you know.. people are actually still reading this and waiting for an update. Seeing the utterly unjustified low count on comments.
(It probably looks better on ff.net though, I haven't checked...)
And yes! No fandom is as flexible for all kinds of AU and genderconfusion as TRC!*-* They could even be plants.. (imagines Kuro as cactus and Fai as vine..see, it really works! you were right! xDDD Sakura would be a.. well not a cherry blossom for a change.. apple? ... hm, a daisy? and Syaoran a...dandelion? I need to give this more thought~)
With this totally sidetracking image, I'll amuse myself for the evening and leave you alone. ^;^

To be honest, I didn't expect this story to be large and more epic, but then it just got out of hand (like many of my works so far lately...ah well). But it did, then all of a sudden, parallels, parallels everywhere!
Poor Kurogane. I just made it a lot hard for her, but hey now sometimes things can best a person like her (or him). Nature here is just more devastating!
Thanks for reading, as always. I'm working on the last chapter now so to speak, and hope to finish it ASAP.

Yes! I like seeing when a hero/heroine has met their match, especially against nature (which you just can't defeat), a stronger opponent, or anything else that realistically can defeat you. Often I see movies/shows/books afraid to present this realism for fear their protagonist will seem weak. So this is a great welcome by me!
Your welcome~ <33 Ah! Then good luck on writing the chapter! And no pressure! I am loving the fic so much so I can easily wait for the new chapter~
(And random note but love the Tomoyo Sakura avatar! XDD)
