I just saw
an episode of "
The Outer Limits". This one was about a man and a woman who fell in love, and it shows that she's really a (very ugly and disgusting) monster who can just create an illusion of she being something else. However, her feelings are true. In the end, when the man sees though the illusion after a year in marriage, he screams and pushes her away and more or less just becomes mad.
The cool voice over in the end says:
"We all wear masks. Illusions of what we want the world to see. But when we hide our true selves from those we love, what price do we pay for that deception?"
Funny how applicable it is to me.
