Larp (Part 3)

And here is the last part of the story.

Day 4
I'll write this whole post as OOC, I can't quite get the energy to made a lively story out of it. Yup, I'm cheating.

When waking up that morning I felt still grumpy from the day before. Our plans foiled due to vicious reinactors. One of us didn't quite feel as bad though, Mr. Speak-a-lot Stigbjörn went for a walk to see the new people who moved in to town just the day before. To discuss rent. They got into a fight and I was pulled out from my home. The new village militia stopped us from interfering. We went to his house, me and Varg, and spoke to him up close and personal (Aaah, the invading of personal space, how I love it) and Varg said "Either, you are on our side.. or you just keep out from it... okay?". He nodded, in a bit of fright.. and we left.

Then we were called to that hearing which was supposed to be with Ulf before. Just a few of us came, the others were... not around. We were about 7 there. They accused us for a whole lot of things and we stood trial for that. Stigbjörn did a very good defence I think. At least he talked a lot. So much he was often cut short with the demand "Use shorter words!". When it all was done, the sentence was: Re-pay all the money we took as 'rent' and pay back just as much. The militia would get 3 lashes each from the whip for being so mean. We were to have our position as village chiefs taken away from us and be put in our house and not allowed to go out for a day. Last but not least.. in front of the whole village (really, everyone at the LARP was there now) say that we were sorry.

Really, I though we were all to be beheaded. Varg whispered something to us all as we were called onto the platform with the gallows and then he stood in front of us all. By now We were only five or so left. Varg grinend a broad grin and said, "On the behalf of the whole family of Järvsblod..." and we all chimed in with a hearty "...Up your ass!"

There was a few seconds of silence as it sunk in and then everyone started booing, chanting for our heads. We each got 3 lashes from the whip. By each lash Urna at any of us, Urna cried out as tears streamed down her cheek (the girl who plays Urna can cry on demand). Then we were taken to our house, shoved, pushed. I think I did my best acting here. And this was definitely the best moment in the whole of the larp.

They had stripped us of our weapons... but we had more in the house. We got them, while laughing loudly about the looks on their faces. But outside they knew what was going on and were ready for us as we made for our violent exit. We were all killed. And I spent my last 10 minutes of the larp gasping and wheezing for air though a pierced lung.

A girl said "he has a warm belly" as she held my intestines in. Since I also got a nasty cut over my belly. Aah, the bliss of having cold hands on your belly when the ground is wet and freezing, your hands bound behind your back and your face in the mud.

All in all, I was happy with how it all ended. I hope to return to the next larp as an avenging orc or something.
