12in2010 writing goals! Because I'm going to need something to get me to reach my GYWO goal (OMG, not even ten days into the month and I'm already 4K behind). And to keep me from spending the year only writing long, plotty case fic.
Goal 1: To write and post 12 or more stories of greater than 1K this year where each features a different character or pairing. These 12 have to be in more than three different fandoms. (Let's see if I can break out of my Castle-CSI:NY-Criminal Minds rut.)
Bonus: They feature women or characters of color, or are a Yuletide NYR fic.

Goal 2: To write and post 12 or more 'carry-over' stories from 2009, whether they are prompts I've collected, stories I've started, or just 'wouldn't this be cool' thoughts I've had. (I hereby declare I'm going to make progress on the alphabet meme and my prompt tables and finish the unicorn fic, nammit.)
Bonus: If they're over 1K.

Note: Fics may count toward both goals if they meet both goals. That said, it does seem a bit counterintuitive when G1 suggests stuff new this year and G2 suggests stuff started last year. So, fics started and substantially written in 2009 (unicorns, MIAU, etc) are not eligible for G1. But if it is a fic prompt I got in 2009 and may have brainstormed a bit, maybe wrote 200 words out of 1k+, it totally counts. Fics written in 2010 prior to signing up for the challenge do not count (there's only one). Genderbent characters do not count towards G1 if I've already counted a non-genderbent fic and vise versa (either one or the other gets counted, not both).
