ZeldaQueen: Here we go! Let us take a moment to honor the dear readers who fought bravely with the things we call "sense" and "logic". Time for the spite fics!

Chapter Two, in relation to Kate horning in on canon so early in the story
Notes from author: Man that felt good! :D

The man grinned toothily, bringing his head back and headbutting Sao Feng. Sao Feng released him with a surprised grunt and the man started foward at me, holding a long spoon with small tines in the concave bit. He darted at me and plunged it into my chest.
I fell backwards, pain filling me, my vision going dark. The last words I heard before I passed out where a somewhat eery repeat of minutes before - only for some odd reason the whelp was there...
The Sue evaporated. Canon was restored.

Chapter 10, in relation to Kate always being protected by the "won't hit a girl" rule
Notes from author: Okay, politically-incorrect spitefic time, despite that I probably couldn't write Jack to save my life
...I'm rather tired of tough girls being able to overpower men and still getting a "wouldn't hit a girl" pass

I lunged at him, catching him off guard, and forced him to the deck. I began to beat against him with my fists, suddenly filled with an animal like rage and fury.
For a moment, Will staggered back against my onslaught, and hot triumph filled my heart. But then hot blood filled my mouth as he backhanded me in the face.
It was my turn to reel backwards, and raucous laughter went up from the men gathered around. He wasn't finished, though; Will's fist caught me in the gut, and I doubled over, wheezing. Then his knee snapped up and caught me on the chin.
Amid the whirling stars and rolling black orbs in my vision, I caught a glimpse of Jack's face, looking down at me on the deck. He was leaning casually back against the rails, shaking his head and taking a swig from a flask! "Now what'd I tell you about fighting people bigger than you?"
"He hit me!" I said, and my voice came out much, much higher and whinier than I intended. "Do something!"
"You hit him first, luv," Jack observed, horrifically calm. "Wench hits a man, all bets're off. Rule o' the sea and all that."

Chapter Fifteen, in relation to Kate's disgusting...erm fling with Davy Jones
Notes from author: Okay, spitefic time
------------------
When we cried out in the final rapture of glorious release, I collapsed atop Davy Jones, breathing heavily, covered in a thin, gleaming film of sweat. I could hear nothing but the pounding of my raging heartbeat.
Suddenly, the hatch banged open, and several figures walked in. I struggled, my limbs flailing around in a desperate attempt to...to...I hardly knew what. Position myself to see them? Cover myself?
Beckett came first, looking quite smug, and flanked by two of his soldiers. "Well, if that wasn't the most revolting thing I could ever see in my worst nightmares," he said almost affably, "then may I never find out otherwise."
"Wha--wh--" I couldn't find words.
"What is the meaning of this...intrusion?" Jones demanded.
"Funny you should mention intrusions," Beckett smirked. "It actually was rather a lesson in human depravity--what a suitably worthless wench will stoop to when left to her own devices."
"Yes, you should know about depravity and stooping," I managed, hissing the words out with all the venom I could muster.
"I do now, thanks to you--and so also does Captain Sparrow, don't you, Jack?"
Dawning horror. Jack had come into the cabin behind them and I never knew it. He was staring at me, his chocolate orbs goggling at me in clear agony.
"Jack," I choked, but could go no further.
"Well, Jack," Beckett addressed him, "why don't we get these last little concerns tied off before we go to Buccaneer's Cove?"
"Jack, you can't," I whispered.
Jack's eyes, hollow, did not look at me now, just staring off at one wall of the cabin. "I really...I just can't bring m'self to care. Go ahead, Beckett. I'll...be shovin' off to the Pearl now."
And then he was gone without a backward glance. I rounded on Beckett. "Why did you do this?" I demanded.
"Very simple. If you want to break a man, you take away everything he cares about. Right now, he would think being executed was doing him a favor--if not for your betrayal, then at least to stop having to remember watching you two going at it."
Beckett turned to Davy now. "Just so you know, I don't need you anymore." He went to the hatch, stuck his head out, and whistled sharply.
There was a loud sound that could only be gunfire, and at the sounds, Jones stiffened beneath me--not the way he had earlier, but in death throes.
I tried to escape the thrashing of his limbs, but his clawed hand caught my arm and deargodthepainohmygodnonononomyarmmyarm!
...
Beckett watched the flailing for a while, then reached down with his pistol and put a bullet in the wench's head. "It's a mercy, really," he explained to the soldiers. "She was going to die anyway--if not from this, then by hanging.
"Hove these off the ship, and let's get back to business."---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chapter Twenty-Three, in relation to Kate constantly being threatened to get Jack to do things
Notes from author: "That's Cheating!" "Pirate."
------------------
"If you value Kate's life, you'll lower your weapon."
Jack smiled, and did not move his hand.
"Are you deaf, pirate?" Beckett muttered, trying (and failing) to lock eyes with Jack Sparrow.
"D'you honestly think I value her life that much, mate? If you'd wanted me to put my gun down, you'd have threatened mine. Which means..." And he put the gun away, holding his arms out. "We're on the same page. You don't value her, I don't value her."
It took Beckett a moment to get his mind back into place. "But... you married her."
"I have wives from here to Botany Bay. Feed a woman the right lines, give 'em a few rounds on a straw mattress, and the next time you need a place to run when you're in port, they'll keep the lamps up for ya."
The gathered sailors didn't even bother hiding their laughter. Beckett glared at them all in turn with a look that could break marble, and then turned back to Jack, asking, "But what about the child?"
For just a moment, Jack looked morose. "Hadn't expected that..." The mood passed. "But can you imagine me as a father? Gods know, being a good father's not in me blood. Probably for the best."
Was it the waves against the hull or was the world really off its axis? Beckett took a deep breath before asking the next question: "So... you don't care about her, you're not sad about the child's death... Why do you play the charade, pirate?"
"She had sex with Davy Jones," Jack answered.
All within earshot turned pale.
"Yeah, that's an image for your nightmares," he said with a shudder. "But that's the first kindness anyone has shown 'im in a century. She's got the hole in 'is chest where 'is 'eart should be wrapped around her little finger."
Jack leaned over, looking out to the sea, a smirk on his lips. "So as long as I keep 'er close, I have Davy Jones on puppet strings."
And Beckett found himself admiring a pirate, even as his stomach churned at the thought.

Chapter Twenty-Six, in relation to Kate and Calypso just staring at each other and not actually fighting
Notes from author: To start, a super-quick spite fic
There, that's outta my system...seriously, DO SOMETHING, KATE.
------------------
The battle raged incessantly all around us, yet I could see only my hated quarry before me. Nothing else existed around us. There was no battle raging except our own...
A nearby pirate just emerged victorious, having slain his opponent. He glanced over, noting two women who were doing absolutely nothing but staring at each other. Not contributing to the fight at all! Shrugging, he lunged over and ran them both through, killing them instantly.
And then the real Calypso appeared and destroyed both corpses.
