[His equipment was gone. Everything, including the Master Sword, had gone with the wind.]
[Link wouldn't have minded the change of clothes too much, if said change hadn't included a variety of aspects that made the outfit somewhat uncomfortable to bear on several levels. The dark, ominous coloring of the tunic, along with the red earrings and

Link?!
[She blinked a few times, studying him.]
So it happened to you as well. Everyone at the inn was hit; so were many of us. Though I have to admit...you really don't look bad at all.
[Look close enough and you might notice that the princess is blushing faintly.]

He did his best to smile and cover his discomfort, but it only half worked. Her compliment seemed be the push required to nudge the rest of the masking expression over the edge- Link's smile quickly became a little embarrassed and he was quiet for a moment and slow to respond. He was grateful for her kinds words, of course... but at the same time, he would have much rather had his own clothing.]
The Master Sword has been taken from me... [He said, looking up at Zelda apologetically. Link had every intention of going to retrieve it, but it had only just been taken. The shock of the change hadn't quite worn off yet.]
Do ..any of the people at the Inn know how this happened?

I'm afraid there's no use in attempting to either remove any of what you're wearing or attempting to retrieve that which is your own. Look...
[She pulls off the red cap and tosses it to the ground, only to have it reclaim its spot on her head within three seconds.]
Most of us are suffering from embarrassment at worst; the one I pity is Shad. His glasses were taken along with his clothing, and the poor dear can hardly see at all.
[She pauses then, and peers curiously at the Triforce choker.]
That's...familiar. I have seen that before; I think I know with whom your garments have been

It was hard to think of how to explain exactly what had happened, as the Hero didn't even understand it himself. And he noted that the state of Sheik's clothing was unaltered. Why had...whatever happened only selected certain people?]
I am.. [He hesitated and frowned softly, slipping a finger under the cords around his neck to loosen the triforce jewelry.]
[He pause and lightly rubbed the back of his neck. How to explain this..?].. My....equipment was stolen by the wind. [He looked across the field as he explained it, a little embarrassed; not as much by the clothes, but because he knew just how silly the explanation sounded.]

He frowned softly and looked uncomfortably down at his gauntlets.]
The only thing I was told is that a spell failed.
[He looked up at Sheik, hopefully] Do you know anything about it?

[Those are his clothes. He doesn't know who that is, but those are his clothes. He recognizes his shield.]
So, are you the one who stole my clothing, or are you just as unlucky as me?

But at least the color scheme made sense, now. This person looked like the the ones who wore the Hero's Clothes - more specifically looked like himself - save for several minor coloring differentiations.]
[Link shook his head]
It was a magic in the wind that did this. [He shifted - surreptitiously, so as not to offend - slightly. Damnable tights.]
I was told that a spell misfired.

That's a damned weird spell.
[He has to ask.] You haven't gotten rid of anything, have you?
Reply
[But after learning that the spell forced him to switch clothes with someone else, Link wouldn't have permanently gotten rid of anything anyways.]
You don't need to worry, I will take care of your equipment until the magic wears off. [He reassured Dark, with a firm nod.]
