The Flowering World

[Chuk-chuk-chuk-chuk-chuk-chuk-chuk-chuk]

[Over Lake Hylia, a faint whirring noise can be heard, growing louder as Makar drifts into view from over the cliffs. He's floating down from the bright sky on his spinning leaf with a canvas satchel slung over one shoulder. As he nears the ground, the leaf folds and he plops gently onto the earth.]

[Busily, Makar toddles over to a clear patch of soil near the shore of the lake. Bending down, he scrapes in the earth to make a little depression, then reaches into his satchel and comes out with a big seed in his hand, which he pops into the ground. Next, a handful of soil from the satchel, sprinkled on top of the seed. Then a bottle of clear water, and he pours a small drink over the earth.]

[Then comes the strange part: a little dance is being danced around the newly-planted seed. Makar circles around it, hops back and forth over it, and sweeps his little arms up toward the sky, rattling all the while. And sure enough, as the dance goes on, a tiny sprout begins to unfurl from the earth...]
