[The rapid shift back into life in his own Hyrule has been difficult, not the least because Harper is more and more certain that his destiny lies with Jewel, not with his own time and his own Zelda.
Those thoughts keep him from sleeping at night and it is a weary Sheikah that approaches the princess's throne in order to beg release from service. He knows it means dishonor on an already dishonored house but at this point, his heart is no longer in protecting Hyrule and its princess when his true love lies in another world entirely.
He kneels, waiting for the disapproving tone to fall from Zelda's lips and is surprised when it does not. She gives him the blessing he so wanted and a horse of his choosing to go out among the realms to seek out that which he lost.
The horse, Shadow, is a capable mount if temperamental and holds his own when attacked by a band of bokoblins camping at the edge of the Kakariko badlands. Harper flips artfully from atop the horse, knives in hand as he begins to quickly count how many he's surrounded by--six, it appears.
He begins to slash, black blood dirtying the gleaming blades and twists to trip one when the world spins and changes to a Hyrule field with nothing but peahats and a slight breeze.]
Have I returned? Jewel? Linksha? Anyone?
[After a long, unexpected absence, Harper returns!]
