Displaced Once More
[When the young Link awakens to see an expanse of water stretching out in front of him, his heart bursts with joy.
And when he stands up and takes another look around, realizing that this 'ocean' that he perceived is truly just a lake, that hope is utterly crushed. This sure didn't look like Turnip Town, let alone The Great Sea.]
Aryll? Grandma? [He utters sadly, though he doesn't expect a response.]
Anybody? [Maybe...this was just another part of the animal village, that he'd wandered into and fallen asleep in, and hadn't noticed he had? He'd call out for a little while and one of the animals would come running up with another menial task for him to do, and he'd get more Bells to pay off his loan, and it'd go back to the sense of forged normalcy he'd become accustomed to--]
...I just wanna go home.
