I know that it's winter, and it's supposed to snow and be cold, but seriously, it can stop now. At least for a little while. I'm legitimately afraid that my boss is going to have a massive heart attack and then I'll be out of a job. Not to mention that I'm petrified of slipping on our crappily plowed parking lot at home, or that there's so much snow that there's no where for the snow melt to go, so the lot turns into a lake and then freezes. *sigh* I'm sick of the white knuckle drives to work that happen at least once, sometimes twice a week. I'm honestly missing AZ for the first time since I moved back home. I'm really hoping the bosses tell me to stay home again for the storm this week, so maybe I can be less stressed about the 2 take home short essay tests and the 7 page paper I have due Saturday.
I'm also sick of the people calling and yelling at me because they want oil before the next snow storm. EVERYONE wants their oil right away, we can't accommodate everyone, so if you have half a tank chill. Better yet, don't call.
It was crazy last week. This week isn't looking much better. If you have oil, do your oil man a favor and dig out your fill pipes, maybe even shovel a path for him. Remember: they're going to take the path of least resistance, so if you don't have a path shoveled, and they end up walking through your flower bed, you don't get to bitch. We have honestly had customers sit back and LAUGH at our drivers as they wade through thigh-deep snow to get to the fill pipes, and that hose isn't light either. We've also had customers decide to go elsewhere because we had the audacity to suggest they dig out the pipes.
I think that's enough of my disjointed ranting for now.
