(no subject)
I was going to do the obligatory end of the year post, but realized it was just too much work. Basically, 2010 wasn't the greatest. I started off the year with medical issues that were somewhat scary (and rather expensive). I ended up having to get crap burned off my cervix in May/June, and having to wait until the end of the year to determine if the procedure was a complete success (and it was, and I found that out on my birthday! Whee!) It was also a year for car issues, and I really wanted to drive my car off a cliff. I got rear-ended at the same intersection twice in one week in June, right after getting an alignment too. I started school in April, and am doing well so far. This Saturday I start taking actual law classes, as well as start full time. The summer was great, aside from money and car stresses. We went on a couple of whale watches, and spent time with friends and family. Labor Day weekend everything went way downhill and I tore my ACL during a casual volley ball game. So I began and ended my year with unpleasant medical drama. October 21st I went in for surgery and spent the next 6 weeks out of work recovering. I'm now close to finishing up my PT.

2. Did you keep your goals/resolutions for 2010?
I started school, that was the major one. I always say I'm going to lose weight and save money, but with the events of the year that didn't happen.
3. What was your favorite moment of the year?
Christmas was nice, and maybe the best time I had all year.
4. What was your least favorite moment of the year?
all my medical crap, and car crap.

None. So sad.

Oct. 21st - surgery date
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I started school! Getting my bachelor's in legal studies
9. How did you celebrate Thanksgiving?
Made a small stuffed turkey breast dinner for Mike and I
10. How did you celebrate Christmas/Yule/Festivus/insert winter holiday here?
Spent it running around the north shore visiting various family member and friends - it was nice.

Mike - helped out tons

We tried to attend a summer concert / fair, but we got to the gate and the admission was ridiculous.

Shit my Dad Says, I think that's really the only "new" show I started watching.

I would have loved if it wasn't the shit storm that it turned out to be, but I'm sure it all happened for a reason.

Mike, myself, and Fable III

Yes, it was a rough year where that was concerned. Not so much people that I knew well and were close to, but friends of friends, acquaintances, and people I used to be close to.

Kil and Nicole, Scott and Pam, my cousin and Debbi, and I'm sure there were others that I just am not thinking of.

Worked, travelled to the North Shore for Christmas. 28.

nothing special

One foot in front of the other....

Ugh. I wish. Maybe in 2011.

No, but started the prep work to.

equality, Palin scares the shit out of me.

Jamie and her circle, and people from Bay Path.

Going back to school

typical lose weight / save money. Get a new car before the temptation to set the neon on fire gets too much to bear. Move (preferably to this place I found in Southwick), and continue to kick ass at school.

We celebrated by hanging out at Mike's parents, having a couple of drinks and munchies, and doing laundry until 2 AM.
