Christmas Wishlist Meme
Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
Yup, it's that time again. Time for me to be self-indulgent with this meme and then scuttle back to writing NaNo (and then yuletide and fic I owe and so on) so please bear with me for this.
Things I want, in no order:
- Fic! Supernatural fic about Gabriel +/ Castiel spending some quality family time together. Or anything else SPN-y I like. Alternatively, Ghost Trick fic or SMT fic or ABOFAL fic or - I love getting fic, so writing me anything in fandoms I know is fantastic and you are wonderful for doing it.
- Amazon gift cards so I can go on shopping sprees.
- Unlikely, but: a PSP or a 3DS. I know, I know - way unlikely, but it doesn't hurt to ask and I do want these. Maybe someone has a spare/needs to get rid of theirs.
- Manga/graphic novels/comics in general - some of my favorite reading materials here, even the fluffy ones. If anyone has spares/needs to clean the attic/etc, my home is open to them.
- A variety of books - A Companion to Wolves, Consider Phlebas, etc - I have a list a mile long and won't clutter the space here with it - if anyone wants to see the books I want, I'd be happy to share it.
- Also a paid LJ account + extra icons. But that's way optional as LJ's being stroppy these days and I'm not sure I want to give them money.
- Stuff in general. Hand-made things, letters/postcards...write me a letter and I'll write you one back!
- And getting back to non-IRL stuff, I want everyone on my flist to have a good holiday season. I want the best for all of you, after all. :3
And that's it. It's not ten items, but - hey. If anyone wants to mail me things or make me things, PM me and I'll pass out my mailing address. And if nothing comes out of this post, well, that's fine too. :) Have a happy Christmas, everyone. Even if it's early to say that.
