Today was very hectic, but also quite enjoyable ^^
Spent the morning in Flushing with Susan and Ryan
...sort of....o_O But I continue to pass along the best book ever -- "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus". mwahaha. Also scored a free copy of "The Foxman" for my failure of a brother. waa!! Gary Paulsen is such a great children's writer, I LOVE HIM. Totally read, like, all his books within a week of reading "Hatchet". So raw and real xD ...He actually reminds me of Stephen King, only without the horror. YUM.
Afterwards, hung out at Shirley's with Susan for a while, which was a lot of fun because I havent seen shirley in like, forevers~ also amusing, because of susan's ganguro tablet pirate xD ME and shirley liked our version better, cuz it was orange and had green hair xD When I left, shirley drew me the best map of how to get back to Roosevelt -- it's up there with Susan's map of how to get to Northern Blvd xD What cartographically gifted childrenz i know ^^ ...they tried to talk me out of seeing my other childrenz, but noO~ I stood firm. WATASHI NO KODOMO TACHI NO TAME NI~~~~~~~~~~
Late afternoon I was with my youngest nephew and caitlyn ^^v Rock Climbing
*ahoy*. I actually think i retained a decent amount of information for something I did two years ago. it was ben's first time...kekke caitlyn and I took his climbing virginity xD ...I totally forgot how tiring it was, though >.>;;; ...my poor arms T_T Though, the train ride back was fun too ^^ various story swapping, always good ^^ Yay Hunter High xD Discussion on whether or not you're a complete loser if you have a lot of friends younger than you T_T But whatever!! I have older people and people my age, so NYAAAAAAAA~
And then I went *BACK* to Flushing. Returned to Shirley and Shun, only this time, it was at Jen Chu's XD ZOMG. I havent seen her in forever *either*, so that was double plus GOOD!!! So a movie started while we were there, and looking at the font in the opening credits, me and shun were like "HM! This looks like a PIRATE MOVIE!!!...or maybe that's just wishful thinking...?". And it WAS a pirate movie, sort of xD Much fun MST-ing the recent remake of the Count of Monte Cristo. Which completely raped the plot
-.- wtf, GANKUTSUOU was more loyal to the plot -.- ..okay, maybe not, but STILL. As one who loves and understands the Count, I am personally offended by how bad the plot was .>< Oh, and awhile back i foolishly believed someone online that Albert was the Count's son, because I thought, "hey, i was 10, maybe i forgot that.....?" but NO. Geez i need to not listen to dumb people -.- Totally *not*. And wtf, Villefort and Mondego were *not* this smart in the book. *heellooo* they're supposed to play into the count's hands~ Lol, but the terrible obvious Count x Jacopo yaoi was great: "I'll always be your man!!!". And the Count's pimp stick xD
And of course, the girlish gossip -- beware!! xD And more "Aristocrats" love xD Poor Jen Chu's face...i should have gotten a picture xD Gloria Lee called, and I even talked to *her* which i havent done in a long while. kekek, I am slowly building a cadre of contacts at MIT, KEKEKEKE~. Me, a stalker? naaaaaaaah. ^^ Actually, im not tryign to stalk evan anymore, but apparently gloria seese him a lot when she vistis his pseudi frat house ^^v Ah, these girls (susan especially >.>) keep leading me into temptation ^^ yeah...Gloria and I have always wished for a bus reunion, but it'll never happen ~sigh~
Susan: "You do realize, that if everyone from the bus were put in one room, we'd kill each other, right? ^^"
Val: "Um, yeah, thats the point xD"
Gloria's already headed back up, so I missed her, but Im doing okay, as last minute scrambles go. It was a lot of fun XD
Friday: Visit Shirley at work, see Snakes on a Plane.
"...hey, the count's invitations look like Death Notes"
"...well, they sort of are xD"
