[Florina's really not sure about this, but she has been meaning to get out more. Maybe this would be a good opportunity. The ad's a few days old by now, but she figures she should apply anyway. It's worth a shot, right?]

There's still an opening, yes. Stop by whenever you can; we'll be set up all day. [Immediately after writing this down, Blackbeard grabs his supplies and his journal, and rushes to House 24 as quickly as he can. He wasn't exactly prepared for this, but he's not going to pass this up.]

[After placing the journal down, she takes a look around. Now, what to bring? There are way too many options, so she just grabs as many things as she can fit. Pie, cookies, tarts, and shepherd's pie, if it fits in the box, she's bringing it. With a determined nod, she closes the box, and wobbles her way over to House 24.]

[At first, Blackbeard's confused when he sees someone walking down the street carrying a large box. When it's became clear that she's heading in his direction, he's interested, and by the time that she's almost got to his hastily-set-up booth, he's ecstatic.] Zehahahaha! What do ya got there?

[She flinches and almost drops the box as she goes to set it down. Then, she begins unloading everything and setting it out on the booth. Really, it's amazing how much she was able to fit in there: pie, tarts, cookies, shepherd's pie, some sort of quiche, and even an entire loaf of crusty, homemade bread. ]

Well, um, t-there's a lot to choose from, so hopefully there's, erm, s-s-something to your liking.

[Blackbeard grins widely and, once everything's set out, he immediately starts digging in to whatever he can get his hands on.] Zehahahahahaha! Wow, ya sure cooked a lotta stuff! [Once he's finished eating the pie, a few tarts, and part of the bread, he figures that he might as well ask some questions.]

So, ya said ya were on a ship before? What kinda ship was that?

[Alarmed, she looks back and forth. Her voice lowers to a nervous whisper and she leans in closer.]

Well, um, I...don't tell tell anyone this, but, um...

[She jolts straight up and looks over her shoulder again once more for good measure.]

...it was a p-p-pirate ship.

[Blackbeard takes a break from trying to choose what he'll eat next in order to stare blankly at Florina, before bursting into laughter.] Zehahahahahahaha! That's fantastic! I was worried that ya might've been a Marine or somethin' like that! Did ya cook there too?

[She has no clue what a Marine is, and she gives him a very confused look.]

Oh, n-no. I was a k-knight! Captain F-Fargus offered to transport a g-group of us to the D-Dread Isle since he r-respected our courage. In return, we helped p-protect his crew and d-d-defend the ship from, um, from other pirates.

...Well, I guess that's good too! [Things would have been much easier if she had previously been a pirate, but this could still work.] So I figure ya'd be able ta handle yerself in a fight, right?

Oh y-yes! I am a t-trained Pegasus Knight, and I'm v-very skilled with l-lances, javelins, and swords. So if you need me t-to fight, I can definitely handle myself, and defend a-anyone else.

[She puffs out her chest and tries her best to look tough. Instead, she just looks ridiculous.]

Zehahahaha! Pegasus, huh? Is that some kinda title, or do ya actually got a flyin' horse? [Sure, as far as he knew, pegasuses (pegasi?) were just myths, but given that his world has minotaurs, a cerberus, and a sword that transforms into an elephant, he figures that just about anything's possible - even moreso than usual in this place.]

I have a flying horse, though, um, well, I'm not sure where she is right now. [She frowns and fidgets a little.] B-but I promise that will not hinder my f-f-fighting abilities whatsoever! [And she's right back to looking "determined."]

Great! Let's see now... [To be honest, Blackbeard doesn't have much qualifications for a position on his crew - "be strong" and "be good at your job" is what they amount to, and his standards have lowered in this place since any crew he forms here is temporary. After trying to think of another question that he can ask, he manages to come up with something.]

What would ya do if one o' the people on the crew got killed? Sure, it ain't like death sticks here, but it's still good fer me ta know somethin' like that!

[She pauses for a moment as she ponders how to phrase this without sounding like a sociopath.]

Well, um, I'd have to a-avenge them, of course! If you're p-part of a crew, you look out for each other, and well, if someone dies, you should do your b-best to punish whoever m-murdered them. If you don't, you're p-putting your other crew members at r-risk, and, um, t-t-that's not okay!
