Experience with Experiments

I went to meet with Jayanth Sharma at his apartment sometime early this month.  We chatted for a long time, talking about forgotten stuff and plans.  He gave me his father's manual Nikkor 50 mm 1.4 lens to try out.  I realised I could never use it since I don't have an external metering device and my camera body doesn't show up the metering display
