Experience with Experiments

I went to meet with Jayanth Sharma at his apartment sometime early this month.  We chatted for a long time, talking about forgotten stuff and plans.  He gave me his father's manual Nikkor 50 mm 1.4 lens to try out.  I realised I could never use it since I don't have an external metering device and my camera body doesn't show up the metering display line for non-CPU lenses.  But I carried it along for sometime wondering what to do with it.  And then I used it to shoot the image of these boys in Hosur.



What interests me about this picture is, this is my first digital SLR shot (shot with
cyberscorpion's Nikon D50) with a copious violation of trial and error methods.  I think I will stay happy with film.
