Yesterday: Went to the I Madinari festival at the Old Mission. That’s just chalk drawing, pretty much. Vic had a spot, so I helped him work on that for a couple minutes. Very nice view from there, if you know what I mean. Max showed came, and we hung out there for a while discussing our film projects. We left after a while and grabbed lunch at Paradise Café. After that we went to his house and watched one of his films. I got home, and then I left again For Will’s house. When I got there, there were already 6 people there hogging the chairs, so I squeezed onto the bed. We watched a couple hours of ultimate fighting, watched Jose and his girlfriend quarrel over insignificant stuff…and then we all just hung out. By the time I left, it was 3:00AM, and I was up six hour later for church. After church, Floppers and I went to CBTL and then to the Museum of Natural history. (I went there to pick up a job application.) I came home for an hour, and then I went to Sigismondi’s house, and we went to go see Art School Confidential (plaza de oro theater), which is a very funny and accurate depiction of what most art schools and students are like. When the movie let out, we went for dinner at Pizza Mizza. Good pizza, gorgeous waitress, and engaging conversation…what more can a man ask for? (not a rhetorical question. Give me a list)
After dinner, I went back to Vic’s house for a bit, and then I left and went to Robs for a Memorial day BBQ. By this time it was about 8:00. Rob and I had an interesting conversations about faux finishes. He might be able to hook me up with a part time job detailing some nice properties. Hey, I’m always up for gaining a new skill.
No I’m home, and ready to relax.
