Memories....
Wow. I haven't really thought about it.....but school's almost back in. Band camp coming up in a few days, and in no time whatsoever, we will be back.
This summer's been really different. I've spent most of my time at home, as opposed to the past when I was outside almost every day doing something with Ben, Derek, and Chris.
But nothing lasts forever right? This summer hasn't really turned out the way I expected. It's the first summer in years that I haven't hung out with the old "crew" almost every day. The 4 of us used to live in the same neighborhood, walking distance from each other, so things used to be great....just walking over to the pool, drinking a few cokes and just kinda chilling out....
I moved elsewhere, Ben moved to Washington, and things just fell apart.
They still might be my close friends, but nothing could compare to the good old days. We were the boys of summer.
