(no subject)
so i've picked up another show, which is ok because i can only watch it online so i don't have to worry about it conflicting with my other shows.
Dexter
it's about a serial killer serial killer. yes you read that right. he's a serial killer who kills serial killers, which i mean how can you not like the guy?
he works for the police department as a blood splatter expert, but fakes being charming so well no one is even suspicious.
and with episode titles like "let's give the boy a hand" in which they find a dismembered hand? just awesome, it's got some gore, but is funny and fun.
he falls into my habit of liking the characters who are socially awkward.
other characters who fall into this category aside from Dexter are Bones and Zach from Bones, House, Matt Saracen from FNL, Cristina from Grey's Anatomy and I'm gonna say both Hiro and Parkman from Heroes. i'll even include Dean from Supernatural, tho i've only seen the very first episode of the show, but were i ti watch it i know i'd like him best.
I think i'd even split them up into 3 different categories of awkardness:
there's the misanthropes, which would be House and Cristina
the academic observers, which would be Dexter (despite his charm), bones and Zach from bones
awkward but loveable, which would be Hiro of course and Matt from FNL and i guess parkman and dean, because i'm really not sure where else they'd go.
the point of all this is me realizing that i like weird characters, which probably isn't a surprise to any of ya reading this as i do like all of you :-p
