I'm so relieved to see that you are still with us! I was just about to go and read Where Your Treasure Lies for the umpteenth time when I thought I'd come over to LJ to see if you had updated. And you have! This makes my heart sing! You are my favorite writer in the fandom. And I agree with your opinion on Cursed Child, but I bought the damn thing anyway because, well you know...It's Harry Potter. I almost died of septic shock back in April because of an absessed kidney. I spent my recovery reading the books, watching the movies, and reading fan fiction. I had to put it away for a while after Alan passed away, but I found that in my hour of need we could immortalize him in the character of Severus Snape. Thank you for all the awesome stuff you have written. Your stories (and my weenie dog) have been just as much a part of my recovery as my medicine. Good to have you back!

Well I am most delighted to hear that I could in any way contribute to your recovery and I'm also delighted to hear that you DID recover!

It's a shame about Cursed Child but I continue to maintain high hopes for the upcoming Fantastic Beasts film and really, just because one bad book comes out the rest remain delightful.
