Slowly chugging back into the old school grind -- not the most exciting nor desirable pastime.
I miss APYLS more and more by the day, it's rather depressing! I've been attempting to quell it by harassing the rest of the facils online, but I suspect it's only making me more nostalgic and less content with my return to academia. On Sunday exactly half the AP facils had a grand time at karaoke -- now considered our official pastime -- complete with mic snatching and shouting and camwhoring. Today itself I spent 45 minutes in LT5 with Alicia and Liki after lessons ended doing nothing but anagram names, stalk Facebook and talk crap. When we finally dragged ourselves out of the place we ran into Dogen by the stairwell and ended up talking for another 20 odd minutes. Not a wise decision with two weeks' worth of Math lecture notes to copy, but a happy one nonetheless. What I'd give to spend time in the company of friends with nothing to worry about.
What I'd like to do, I'd like to stop time where it is at this moment where I've experienced the most so far, without having to move forward into the uncertainty of the year's end. So many things have changed and I'm not sure how much more I can handle, and while everything's turned out right so far, there are times when I just want to stay in this limbo of contentment, of happiness and wide grins and the lack of worry, of knowing that everything is fine, so far, and dimly, hopefully, will continue to be.
