New Year's Eve

Dec 31, 2005 19:56

Howdy! I'm not sure if I missed a post or not, but I'm sorry to read about the need for Kleenexes etc. (And a belated thank you for the heads up for the BBM Yuletide stories which I will def. check out!)

Happy New Year! May it be happy and weed-free!

Ah, just a long-running family drama I'm going to go back to staying well away from.

Midnight your time - happy 2006!

(Weed-free is a little too much to hope for! I'd settle for a 30% reduction.)

Poor Zebra. Sorry to hear that your get together didn't turn out so well. Hey, at least you put on a good show. I heard the cheque scene was something to behold. *g*

Family are the people you are unfortunately stuck with and have to retreat from. Friends, OTOH, are the family you choose.

Next year come and spend Christmas with us, you poor sausage.

Christmas was great, it was just the (almost) lunch with my father that didn't go well! At all.

It's just such a total waste, because it isn't a personality clash or different values or any underlying issue. And if it were me with the problem, I'd probably act just the same and hang everyone else, too - though I hope I'd have the sense not to invite anybody to lunch to watch me at it.

Well, if you ever want to talk about it, that's good. If not, I also send supportive thoughts your way.
