Fandom Appreciation Challenge Day 2
china_shop is running a week-long Fandom Appreciation Challenge and today's task is to send feedback for three non-story fannish creations and then rec them.
Three vids:
American Tune, The West Wing, by greensilver. The vid that made me want to watch the show, which I'm now two-and-a-quarter seasons through. These people's jobs really mean something. Streaming doesn't seem to be working, but it's well worth downloading.
What About Everything?, Multifandom women, by fizzyblogic. The result of a Google search for "vid recs" today. I probably only know a third of the source, but it has intermittent horses, swords, ships and sci-fi stuff, and leaves me wanting to know more.
I'd Do Anything For Love, Merlin, by keewick. Nine minutes long! This is one of my favourite "housework vids", by which I mean I find it so enjoyable and energetic and motivating that it can counterbalance whatever tedious task I pair it with. Merlin provides beautiful source material - I love the medieval setting and the scenery.
